Pokemon Yellow Locations.
Bulbasaur. - Bulbasaur can be found at Cerulean City, near the Pokecenter. After you get Squirtle, go to Cerulean city, and in one of the houses there is a lady, who has Pokemon next to her. Talk to her and she will ask you a question. Choose the top answer and she will ask you another question. Choose the top answer again and you get Bulbasaur.
Charmander. - Charmander can be found at Route 24 N.W. after you pass the nugget bridge you will see a man in the top left corner of the screen, go talk to him and he will give you a Charmander.
Farfetch'd. - Farfetch'd can be found on Routes 12 and 13.
Magnemite. - Magnemite can be found in grass before the rock tunnel entrance.
Squirtle. - Get the Thunder Badge on the S.S. St. Anne, then go to Vermilion City to find Squirtle. Or go to Vermilion City and in the center of the town you will see an Officer Jenny talk to her and she'll give you a Squirtle.
Arcticuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. - When you have reached the mystical bird (Arcticuno, Zapdos, and Moltres), save the game before going into battle. This will allow you to restart if you knock them out or run away.
Printing Pokemon
Your Pokemon can be printed at the Pokemon Club in Vermilion City.
Jesse and James locations.
To find these team rocket members, go to these locations:-
Mt. Moon - before you exit.
Celadon game corner - before you face Giovanni.
Pokemon tower, Lavender Town - before you rescue Mr. Fuji.
Sliph Co. - before facing Giovanni again, and before you get a Master Ball.
Defeating Brock.
Catch a Caterpie in Viridian Forest. Advance it to level 7 and he will evolve into a Metapod. Advance it to level 11 and it will evolve into a Butterfree. Butterfree can beat JR. Trainer and Geodude. Butterfree will have to be at least level 13 before it can beat Brock. Use your Pikachu's tail whip to lower their defense.

Pikachu surfing mini-game.
The Pokemon Stadium game on the Nintendo 64 is required for this trick. Successfully complete the tournament mode on Pokemon Stadium without using any rented Pokemon. Then, transfer Pikachu to the Pokemon: Yellow Edition cartridge to play the Pikachu surfing mini-game.
Extra Damage.
While fighting select you desired attack. When it says you are going to use that attack (eg. "Venusaur used razor leaf"), hold down the A button until your oppents life stops draining. If your timing was right your attack will do more damage then usual.
Boss Tactics.
Here are your best bets for beating the Pokemon Gym Leaders:-
Brock - Use water or grass Pokemon against this rock trainer.
Misty - Use grass pokemon or electric to defeat this gym leader.
Leiutenant Surge - Use a rock or ground pokemon and he's toast.
Erika - Use fire pokemon or flight against this plant lover and shatter her dreams of fighting you again.
Sabrina - Use bug or ghost against this psychomaniac and she is a goner.
Koga - This poison pokemon lover will be deafeted easily by using psy pokemon.
Blaine - This fire trainer will use fire pokemon against you so you can use water or ice.
Final Boss Giovanni - The team rocket leader, is the final gym leader - use water, ice, plant and he's out of there (talk to him again and he says something to you). In the Indigo Plateau you find 5 pokemon.
Catch Pokemon Easily.
This trick allows you to fight and catch the Pokemon easily with any kind of ball.
1. Get into a battle with any Pokemon.
2. Use a ball on them. Any kind of ball will work. If you have difficulty using normal Poke balls, try more powerful ones to increase your chances even more.
3. As soon as you see the ball explode, press and hold the B Button. The timing for this is very important. You must press B just as the ball explodes, which can be difficult.
4. After the ball wobbles for the second time, release the B Button and you have them.
Note:- This trick will not work every time, but it will increase your chances of catching them. It is not necessary to do any damage to them, but some Pokemon, like Mewtwo and Zapdos, will have to be put to sleep before the ball will hit them.
