Lara the Swinger.

Look up often to check for special textures that Lara can hold onto; there are a lot more monkey-swinging areas in The Last Revelation than there were in Tomb Raider 3. You can probably climb any texture that even remotely looks like a ladder, so keep an eye out for horizontal lines that resemble rungs.

|
Camera Hints.
|
|
A new camera-lock gimmick is helpful in directing you to otherwise obscure solutions: When Lara walks into a room and her view fixes on something, you should get the hint. Whenever the camera swerves to another focus (regardless of what you do with the controls) take note of what it's pointing at.

|
|
Corner Shimmy.
|
|
Lara has a new move; when she grabs a ledge and shimmies along it, she can now shimmy around corners. It's easy to pull off, just grab a ledge like normal with the action key (Ctrl, by default) and continue shimmying with the directional keys until Lara goes around the corner.

Aim First, Ask Questions Later.
|
|
Lara has better eyes than you do. Draw your guns before walking into a dark area. If there are any enemies there, she will automatically aim in their direction, even if you can't see them yet.

Tomb Raider 4 Cheats.

Easy way to face north.
|
|
Find any block that faces north. Climb up or jump to it. Go to the inventory screen and your compass should be transparent to confirm she is facing exactly north.
|

|
Level Skip.
|
|
Have Lara face exactly north. Enter the inventory screen and look at the compass. If it is not transparent, try positioning her again. Go to "Load Game", hold H + E + L + P, then release those keys. Close the inventory screen to advance to the next level.

Enable the "Unlimited Items" code. Close the inventory screen. Enter the inventory screen again. Go to the large medipack, hold W + E + A + P + O + N + S, then release those keys.

Gold Skulls in the Training Level.

|
The first skull is at the beginning toward the left.
|

The second skull found is in the shallow water below the very first jump you are instructed to do.

The third is below the running jump section of training.
|

The fourth one found is in the water of your swim training session.

Driving.
|
|
Lara commandeers a Jeep in the Valley of the Kings outside the Temple of Seth. Although she can use no weapons while driving the Jeep, she can always run over anyone foolish enough to cross her path. Here's how to drive it.
|
|
Get in = Find ignition keys, walk to Jeep, press Action [Ctrl].
|
|
Turn left/right = [Left or Right arrow keys].
|
|
Accelerate = [Ctrl].
|
|
Brake = [Alt].
|
|
Reverse = Sprint [/].
|
|
Shift back to drive = [Shift].
|
|
Get out = Brake until stopped, then press [Alt]+[Left arrow key].
|
|
|
Laser Pistols.
|
|
In the version for the PC, you can use the Pistols with Laser Sight this means that you don't waste any ammo. Arm Lara with the Crossbow/Revolver/Laser Sight and hold down the "Look" key (keypad "Ins/0" by default) to engage the laser scope. Keep pressing Look, then press 1 to equip Lara's Pistols (you should hear her draw them from her holsters). At this point, you'll still be using the Laser Sight, but any shots fired will come from the Pistols.

Need a Light.
|
|
When you're in a place where you can't see past your nose and you're running short on flares, you can always pull out the pistols and fire away at the darkness. But what if you want to avoid breaking something or being heard? Try this: Put the binoculars on and hit the Jump key. Doing this will fill your entire field of vision with light.

|

Shooting Gallery Cheats.
|
|
If you don't have the revolver yet when you get to the shooting gallery, start with the grenade launcher. Jump straight up and shoot. This should knock out seven or eight targets. Then use the crossbow with laser sight to knock out the rest (you only need nine out to continue).

|
|
Look Before You Switch.
|
|
Beware many Secrets in the Last Revelation can be made inaccessible by throwing switches. Before manipulating any objects, make sure you have thoroughly searched all available areas first.
